MnDOT Parklet 2.0

Activating spaces and engaging with people.

MnDOT’s Parklet 2.0 is a new tool available to activate spaces and engage with people throughout Minnesota. Minnesota Walks identifies the importance of making places more desirable for people to walk – parklets make this happen by turning a small amount of on-street parking into a mini-park where people can gather, chat, and enjoy time outside. Parklet 2.0 builds on the success of MnDOT’s previous parklet by making it easier for agency staff to check-out, tow, and set up the parklet in a variety of settings.
